David Brüschweiler is an emerging researcher with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Medicine from ETH Zurich. Currently in a gap year, he is preparing to start his Master’s degree in Lugano in September 2024. David is actively involved in three research projects: A project aiming to provide a geographical and qualitative overview of all animal systematic reviews done in the field of neurology, including the generation of a toolbox capable of automatically extracting key information from abstracts of animal studies. In PsyNamic, David is creating a living systematic review for all clinical studies using psychedelic substances such as psilocybin and LSD to treat psychiatric diseases.
Aside from research, David is passionate about traveling and learning languages, pursuits that enrich his personal and professional life by fostering an appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.
David has joined the STRIDE-lab as research assistant in February 2022.
